Conservation / Protection of Badri Cow

The Badri cow is an endangered breed of cattle that has been the subject of an ancient Hindu scripture of the Rig Veda. It is native to the Saraswati River basin in North India. In the past few decades, their population has been devastated by encroachment on their habitat. Now, they are threatened with extinction.

India is home to the Badri cow, which is the national animal of India. It is thought to be the cow that the Hindu god of creation, Brahma, milked. The cow is considered sacred and is a symbol of good fortune for Hindus. The cow is thought to be able to protect humans from evil. It is also thought to be able to bring peace and prosperity to the world. If a Badri cow dies, it is thought that a bad year will befall the world. The cow is also sacred to Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists. Here at BADRI Foundation, we are committed to working for the conservation and protection of the endangered breed of Badri Cow.
